I was born and raised in upstate New York, and from a young age my family instilled in me a sense of adventure, and a love for the outdoors.  I am now a senior at Connecticut College, have lived for 4 months in South Africa, and spent my summers climbing mountains in Wyoming and interning as a film editor in Austin, Texas. These experiences have shaped my interests, and fueled my desire to portray and explore the world around me. I believe that adventure and experience are the purest forms of teaching, and within that, that stories are what connect our common humanity.

John Steinbeck wrote that, "A great and lasting story is about everyone."  As I have begun to pursue storytelling through film, photography, and writing, I hope to touch on the universal thread that defines the human experience.
